So here's the idea. I currently use this pedal in a song per bank fashion - meaning for a given song, I have 6 "presets" for that songs that I will use. I think it would be awesome if we could save all 8 midi commands programmed into a single switch into 1 preset that we could then save off and load onto another switch when needed.
Additionally, the ability to save a "preset" of just a single midi command of the possible 8 (IE, the PC combo you might use in a toggle so instead of programming 4 different numbers every time, you are just loading up "COMBO 1" etc) would be super dope. This might go hand in hand with the saving a device instead of a midi channel number as mentioned in another thread. To take it a step further, if you could save presets on a per device basis I think that would really complete this idea (IE, for the 'TimeLine' device you see presets for it, but not the 'BigSky' device, etc).
The main thought process is that a "preset" is a combination of different settings, PC calls, etc sent out to a variety of midi controlled devices.
Thanks for the suggestion, Ben! Interesting idea, and would definitely ease up some time spent on programming. Not sure how it will fit into the whole architecture. Will have to give it some thought :)
