I want to have just a switch that sets the loop, so it needs to respond fast with zero lag. Is it possible in a future enhancement to isolate looper mode to one or more of the switches, (individually) without having all the switches being in looper mode? I have not had good results switching in and out of Looper mode and always maintaining knowing what mode it is in, resulting in other switches not responding correctly due to not being aware that I am in looper mode. I understand this problem is due to my own Negligence, but it would be easier if I could just have one switch dedicated to this function without the need to switch out of Looper mode after each use, or switching on when needed.
After initially writing this post I did some testing with the MC6 in Looper mode and also using an analog sustain pedal connected to my midi controller. I tested each of them against each other to see the difference in the response times. The Analog pedal through my Midi controller is right on the Beat, but the MC6 even in Looper mode can not be as punctual as needed to stay in time with what I am playing. I am using USB midi out of the MC6. Is the Midi Jack Out faster? I am wondering if there is something I am missing to speed it up???
