I use a bank per song on the MC6, then each button is a section of the song that requires changes. As they send 8 simultaneous messages of any type, I just program bespoke to whatever needs to happen. So say, “chorus” will load a patch on the H9, bypass the chase bliss, load a patch on the Meris, and send CC messages to the Moog etc etc
So do you have two different switches on the MC6 doing that - one for bypass, one for engage? On my other devices, I usually set up a CC toggle for one switch, so I can press it once to engage, and once more to bypass. I'd love to only have to use one switch to do that on the H9. I suppose I could to a delay, where i press to bypass and hold to engage. But I'd like it more instantaneous if possible
Yep, that’s exactly right. So I set 0 as bypass and 1 as active, and send a 127 message to them to action. Basically the H9 allows you to decide what CC messages do what on the pedal which is really handy, but terribly explained in the manual.
Sick board! Curious how you set up the H9 with the MC6? I just ordered a Max and it's on the way.
It seems you have to set up two different CCs on the H9 for bypass and active, instead of setting up one CC and sending it a value of 0 for bypass and 127 for active. Is that how you set it up on yours? Or am I missing something?
It’s actually changed again now! The timeline just wasn’t doing it for me so I put my Moog back on. And yeah, I use a bank per song, then assign the buttons on the MC6 to sections of those songs, triggering presets on the midi pedals / CC controls on the Moog. The gap is for an incoming Warped Vinyl, so the MC6 is actually going to be controlling 7 midi pedals. (H9, MF104M, Mercury 7, Ottobit, Polymoon, Brothers, Warped Vinyl). I basically couldn’t do without it.
How do you control all the pedals? Have you presets for songs?
And how to you go with the Meris Pedals? I have the Polymoon which is a real good delay, but ow do you have control over the presets since the Meris pedals always overwrite the saved preset when you press the "Alt-knob" if you make a change off the alternate functions?.
Back to first question...how do you control all the pedals?
Gotcha, gotcha!

That is a fantastic board. Wow.
