Hi, just finding my feet. I can use the Strymon Bank up and down messages to do just that, but then I have to press the A or B switch on the Mobius to call up the A or B patch on that bank. How do I set the a switch on the MC6 to go up and down through the patches on all banks?

Fantastic!! I've got both the DD-500 and Mobius scrolling through their patches - thanks James.
Sorry, the slot++ should be Yes. I pasted the wrong screenshot.
Sorry for taking up so much of your time - can you tell me what numbers to put in? Thanks. I've done the 0, 127 the same as above and this is what we get -
Thanks James - I like that editor much better.

Web editor please
Ah ok! We came across this recently. You're using an outdated desktop editor version. In the new version, we added a new feature where you can set the lower and upper limit of the scroll. Your settings for that are probably 0 for both the upper and lower limit, which is why the number isnt changing. You can either download the new desktop editor, or just use the web editor. Let us know!
David, don't worry about it. It's instances like this that help us think about how to make the product easier to use!
So your settings looks right. The midi monitor only shows one message though. If you continue stepping on the preset, the PC number should increase?
James, I don't want you to think I'm complaining about the MC6, just the opposite, I'm complaining about me - the MC6 is fantastic. I've been programming it to change presets on my Mobius and DD-500 all day - I love it. The problem is I'm not good enough for it, I know it's a brilliant piece of kit with huge capabilities- and all I'm getting it to do is change presets on a couple of pedals! I wish I knew more.....
You need to toggle out of editor mode as well when using the midi monitor.
What firmware version are you using? Could you email or post a screenshot of the midi monitor and your settings of the editor here?
Thanks James.
Took me a couple of minutes to sus what I was doing. Here we go:
The MC6 is set to PC Scroll Down, Number Slot 1, Slot-- Yes, Channel 1.
The Mobius is set to Channel 1
When I first pressed the button I got: (time), Control Change, 127, 32, 1.
Next press: (time), CC, 127,102,1
Then: (time), CC, 127, 119,1
Then: (Time), CC, 126, 0, 1
Then every time I press it I get: (time) PC, 0, -, 1
Try going to www.midimonitor.com
You can monitor the outgoing messages from the MC6 there. Do let us know what you see.
Also do you have any other messages in that preset?
Yup
Did you toggle out of editor mode while controlling your strymon?
Using the desktop editor I have put a 'PC Scroll Up" Message 1 on one of the buttons with '1' in the Number Slot and I changed 'NO' to 'YES' in the Slot++.
When I press the button it sends the Mobius where ever it is back to the first patch 00A - that's it. It doesn't do anything if I press it again.
(Interestingly the Strymon Bank Up and Bank Down Messages I programmed in were doing that, but they were also working the Looper on my Boss DD-500 until I changed it to a different channel!)
Thanks James, I did try that, but can't be configuring it right.
Can you walk me through it - I was 18 when Midi was invented, so I've been aware of its existence for 30+ years but this is my first attempt at using it.
- thanks.
How about using a PC scroll message for this?
