If I have two switches both set to toggle different presets, and activate the 1st one, when I then activate the 2nd, it resets the status for the 1st, so I need to press that switch twice to deactivate it.
Hey guys, if you are using the v3.4 firmware, this is part of the new "Bank Clear Toggle" feature, so the user can press one preset and the other preset's toggle will be deactivated.
You can switch this off in the programming menu >> Bank >> ClearTgs
@DeSelby After downgrading firmware to v3.3.1, now every time I edit and try to save a preset, the MC6's screen just hangs on "Rcving data from edtr..."
Hi both, my problem is exactly what Joe describes.
I'm controlling a Roland TR-8S drum machine.
Switch A, Position 1 - CC with value of 0 (to turn off BD)
Switch A, Position 2 - CC with value of 127 (to turn on BD)
Switch B, Position 1 - CC with value of 0 (to turn off SD)
Switch B, Position 2 - CC with value of 127 (to turn off BD)If I turn off the BD, then all is fine, but if I then turn off the SD too, it resets the BD switch status on the MC6.Hope that explains better.
I had the same issue with 3.4.0 installed, and it was resolved by reinstalling firmware 3.3.2.
I had setup presets A-F as simple CC toggles. Each preset only had two messages: Press position 1, and Press position 2, sending a CC with value of 0, and 127 respectively. I did not set any extra messages to engage or disengage other Presets, however, pressing _any_ other preset would automatically reset the toggle state of all other presets.
I’m having a hard time understanding what you are saying. Can you put your code up here so we can see what you are doing. I have previously made a suggestion that there should be some mechanism on this forum where we could share presets. This is an example of an instance where it would be really useful.
Alternatively PM me on TGP as I see you have posted there.
