Hi there,
I'm new to the forum and also to the MC6. I was so excited to get one, that I started creating templates (in OneNote :)) for my midi capable pedals before I even got the MC6.
Now I just started programming everything and came across an issue with the Name placeholders function. So according to the manual, if I put %E0..to..7 before the name of the actual preset name and use the PC Scroll up/down messages, I should be able to see the numbers change. So when the array is sending a PC#2, then I should see "2" on my display as well.
My settings:
MSG1 for switch F> Pc scroll up
N1=0, V1=1 (so it should change the 1st number in the array and increase it by 1 with each press of switch F)
Name for Switch F> %E0UP (this should mean that the first number in the array should be shown on the MC6's display) and it should look like this: 0UP...1UP...2UP...etc. when I keep pressing that switch.
Right now, the MC6 is showing me 0UP (so the name placeholder is actually working), but whenever I press the "UP" switch (switch F in my case) the number doesn't change.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
Miki
Hi Miki,
Could you try connecting the MC6 to the computer, and use a Midi monitor to check the messages. Is the PC message increasing, despite the Name Placeholder remaining the same?
