If it works for the Eventide H9, it will work for the MC6. There isn't much info in the second link you sent, only that it uses a normally open switch. There isn't any information on how it is wired as well. It is best that you contact the manufacturer for more information before you purchase.
The sellers in the link that you shared don't ship (or too expensive to ship it) to the UK. That's why I searched for local pedal makers. I found this 3 button switch which is working perfectly.
On the other hand I may use the other Aux switch for just tap tempo. So I tried this one. There is a polarity switch for Normally Open and Normally Closed feature. I think the problem is due to stereo cable.
How are you using it? The MC6 requires a normally open switch that is connected to it via a stereo cable. We have not tried the M199 so we can't recommend it. However, there are a few recommendations in our manual here:

I used this mini pedal with stereo cable on my MC6 but it says in the description that it's not suitable for Strymon which requires a stereo cable.
Do I understand it correctly?
