Very easy question I'm sure.., I was reading the manual and it was saying that you can send 8 msgs with one hit of a foot switch. Could each of these msgs be on different channels?
You definitely can send them on different channels. If your editing it directly on the mc6, it is a nice the bottom right on the editor screen. I forget where it is on the desktop editor but you can definitely do it there too.
