MKII - Setting up an Aux pedal

I have an MC6 AUX pedal from "American Looper," along with a TRS cable they supplied.

I'm trying to setup the MC6 MKII to properly read the pedal. The FAQ page mentions a "Main Configuration Menu," but I don't see directions on how to access that.

Assuming I get there with a bit of direction, I'm then supposed to set the Exp1 input to "Aux Switch." Will that be fairly obvious?
