I'm not new to midi, but I am new to midi via usb connections.
I recently bought a Red Panda Tensor pedal. It has, what looks to be, a mini-b usb jack. The manual says it can receive midi cc messages via usb. I'm wondering if the MC6 can directly connect to the Tensor or does the usb have to go thru a computer.
Many thanks.
looks like there's an MOVIE of ``` TOY STORY $ WE serve Any thing about that https://coderwall.com/p/63ojpw/hdpx1080-toy-story-4-online-free-movie-2019
In 3.3.0 It looks like there's an addition of ``` MIDI implementation for USB MIDI``` Does this mean we would still need a MidiPlus Box or something similar to connect a Tensor to the MC6 Mkii? I was really hoping we could just use a usb host adapter (like the DMC.Micro Gen3)
As a followup to this, Red Panda got back to me today, they bought one of the Midiplus boxes and yep, it works!
Hi there, to drag this thread back up again, any thoughts on whether this would do the job for speaking to a tensor? I got all excited reading through Red Panda's update notes on the new firmware so being able to send PC/CC info to a tensore from my MC-6 would be fantastic. Thanks!

I ended up getting the Kenton USB midi host

It sucks that Red Panda didn't use the more standard MIDI options like a 5 pin MIDI or 1/4" TRS jack, but it's still cool to control the Tensor with the MC6. Tried some simple commands yesterday (like bypassing/engaging Tensor and changing the Time from stretch to compress). Worked wonderfully!

or this model supports multiple USB midi devices.

Bumping this thread. Wondering what other options other than the MIDX-20 might work? Those appear to be $189, which is more than I'd like to spend just to connect the Tensor.
The small box that makes possible smart connections between midi-usb slaves is the MIDX-20. Websearch that. Works great to allow my MC6 to control usb-midi devices. Also powers the MC6 via the USB cable, so one cable to connect and power the MC6. Sweet.
