I’m running the latest beta firmware, 20191105_MC6_v3_4_2_Beta.hex, and the monitor works fine. I have found on occasion that if the MC6 is powered up and I start the editor I have had to reboot the MC6. Since I‘m using the USB cable to power the MC6 I just unplug it and plug it back in again. What I do now is open the editor first and then power the MC6 on.
