I've been able to get the web editor and the MK2 to go into edit mode. I've been able setup (I think) a 1A press to send a CC# with a value.
But how do I setup a toggle action on, for instance switch 1D? For a "toggle-on" I want to send 127 on CC# 23, on "toggle-off" I want to send 0 on CC# 23.
I'm not understanding the web editor interface functionality to do that, it's different than for the MC6 MK1
It is software in which you can control the toggle from on to of all the comb ability. This software work being different expertly option careeraddict and other concepts work in it to write it on the setup.
Thanks Carl, we'll take your feedback into consideration!
Yes, that did the trick thanks!
Perhaps a bit of feedback/suggestions on the web editor labeling. Think about, anyway.
- Normal/Edit Button: Perhaps label "Morningstar MC6 MKII Edit: Off" / "Morningstar MC6 MKII Edit: On", along with the blue color change.
- Toggle Button: Perhaps as "Toggle SW" / "Momentary SW"
- Toggle Pg Button: Perhaps as "LCD Pg1" / "LCD Pg2". That would avoid confusion about overloading "toggle" of the footswitches vs. some other "toggle" for the display.
- Pos 1 / Pos 2 button: Perhaps as "ToggleMin / "ToggleMax". I just had no idea what "Pos1" and "Pos 1" were about. Perhaps hide that button unless the overall "Toggle" button is at "Toggle SW".
Anyway, thanks again, very much like the new MKII!
Hi Carl, can you take a look at these instructions and let me know if ie helps?
https://manuals.morningstar.io/mc6-mkii-manual/setting-up-a-toggle-message
Tried a few things, still no success. Turns out my switches setup for "momentary" aren't working either.
Do I need to be doing anything with the "Pos 1" setting?
I may need to wait for the tutorial.
Hi there,
In the editor top left side, there is a toggle button Turning it in will cause the preset to toggle each time it is engaged.
In each of the messages, there is a toggle position drop down. The preset will be toggling between both positions. Hence if you have one mesaage in a toggle position 1, and another message in toggle position 2, and you have the toggle on for the preset, you'll have that toggle functionality set.
We'll do up a more detailed tutorial soon.
