Hi - anybody use these together yet? Just picked up the C4. Loving the MC6 as a controller for the Hx Stomp. Wondering if the MC6 has any issue with controlling the C4 over usb.
Yeah I need to look back at the past correspondence but i remember the toggle switch was confusing, and I had the same experience of finding that ch1 was the way to go w the c4. I think it might be that the settings on the ghost are the receive channel rather than the send channel and the send channel is always 1 but im
not sure. Check thegearpage and search for “death by midi” for some back and forth on the topic.
I'm just getting familiar with both, but I think the C4 needs to be set to channel 1 in order to speak to the midi.ghost. The midi.ghost (via dip switches) in turn can be set to whatever channel you want that doesn't interfere with you other devices.
Thanks patrik! Fixed on whose end? I had it working for a hot minute with both set to 1, but haven't been able to get it working again. Wondering which company I need to follow up with...
It seems you have to set both the midi.ghost and the C4 to midi channel 1 to get it to work. I think it was supposed to have been fixed, but I had to do it even though I am on the latest firmware on booth.
Hi Michael you might want to look at this page and thread @talkbass https://www.talkbass.com/threads/source-audio-c4.1413121/page-5
Espescially thread #85. I too am looking at the C4, and just got my MC6, and I was also curious whether they could play well together.

The answer so far is an emphatic yes. Trying to control the C4 using MC6 > USB host port on the midi.ghost > C4. Not going well at all so far.
