MC-6 Bank up/down using aux switch programming.

Basically, if there is nothing connected to the EXP inputs, you need to configure your inputs (from the main config menu) as EXP instead of AUX. If not you might notice that the MC6 is unresponsive in the main page.

I"m still a bit confused about this note in the manual. 'IMPORTANT- Please note that if you do not have any expression pedals/external switches connected to the MC6, your Expression Inputs should be set to [Expn Pedal]. Otherwise the MC6 will hang on the main page as it will think that an external switch is being pressed.'

It doesn’t exist via desktop. Simply enter switch edit mode on the controller by pressing D+F. It will tell you what switch you’re editing. Then hold down the Copy switch (F) until it says “Copied to all banks”. Or “Pasting to all banks”. Something like that.

Also i hadn't found the copy to all banks fucntion becuase I've only been using the desk top editor and preset manager and I don't think that function exists there does it?

Thanks guys, I'll check it out. Next question: some gigs I take minimal stuff - if I don't have the aux switch plugged do I have to re-map for expression pedal? I noticed in the manual it suggests that if nothing is plugged in to either of the exp inputs they should be set to exp pedal to prevent hanging glitches. Have I read this correctly?

What James said! Easy to copy across all banks. I set up the same thing on my Aux controller. Works like a charm.

Hi, there's a copy and paste to all banks function. Simply hold down the copy button on the MC6 to paste that preset to all banks
