On the MC6 switch "A" I have a preset but was wondering if another preset can be assigned with a double tap or a long press action. If so can someone help me how to accomplish this?

If you want to have 2 distinct message sets (i.e. one or more messages) that don’t toggle you can do something like the following.
Footswitch A preset
Msg 1 Release CC 32 127
Msg 2 Release PC 15
Msg 3 Long Press Release CC 33 15
Msg 4 Long Press Release CC 34 0
In this example every time you tap the footswitch the first messages 1 & 2 will be generated. And alternatively, every time you do a long tap messages 3 & 4 will be generated. The easiest way to get a feeling for this is to hook the MC6 up to a Midi monitor running on your computer using USB. Hope that helps.
