I have an MC6 coming and I'm eager to start setting up my six MIDI capable pedals. Two of them are Chase Bliss (Tonal Recall and Brothers).
I was previously using a Disaster Area DMC device, and to save a preset on the Tonal Recall (for example) I would do the following:
1. Tweak the Tonal Recall to a setting I liked
2. Hold both footswitches on the Tonal Recall and then send a PC change message from the DMC. Example, if I was on preset 3 on the DMC and wanted to save the preset to slot 4, I would hold both TR switches and then click the switch on the DMC to go to preset 4. Now the TR setting is saved to preset 4
I'm wondering if I can save settings in a similar way on the MC6? Would I have to have one of the buttons set up so that it scrolls through PC numbers, and when I hold the TR switches, just click the button on the MC6 so that it goes to the next PC #?
Apologies if this is confusing. But I'm just used to the Disaster Area stuff where it's more user friendly. The reason I'm getting the MC6, though, is I'd like more customization options!
I'm having a hard time understanding what you're experiencing... but I just tested this and I believe it's working just fine. Do you want both pedals assigned to the same MC6 slot or different MC6 slots?
The only PC Scroll message that should have increment set to NO is the one that you intend to use to resend the current PC number.
Apologies if I'm misunderstanding, but if you can detail exactly what you'd like to do with what actions, I can try to build the presets and send your way!
