Hi, I'm relatively new to MIDI and am using my MC6 to control an H9, Panda Midi Future Impact (FI), and Source Audio C4. I think it's best if I explain what I want to do (and what's actually happening). I'm using the Web Editor. Love the product...but still not yet a big fan of MIDI.
1. I want to use Preset A (PstA) to activate and engage patches on my H9 and FI and am using the Preset B to engage a C4 preset. I have both presets set to blink. What I want to be able to do is have both blinking when both presets A & B are engaged. What happens now is that when I engage Preset A, it only blinks until I engage Preset B. When I select B, PstA stays engaged but stops blinking. Then when I select Preset A in order to disengage the H9/FI, I have to press twice--once to get PstA to blink again (and then PstB stops blinking) and then press PstA a second time to disengage it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
2. I want to use an aux switch to set the tap tempo for my other midi pedals. I can get it to talk to the H9, but it doesn't seem to accurately reflect my tapping when I set it as a MIDI Tap message.
Thanks!
Are you using the latest firmware and the web editor. If yes, then your problem is that ‘Clear Preset Toggle’ is ‘On’. In the editor go to ‘Edit Bank’ and turn it ‘Off’. Make sure to save the bank settings.
